PLEASE write something about appearance fees--how they work, how much they are worth, who gets them and who doesn't, etc. Andy Roddick mentions these ALL the time on his podcast, and says they play a huge role in who shows up for tournaments and often how (or why) players perform (badly) in them. But he never gives any specifics about how much we are talking about or how it works. It seems like, in your new position, you are uniquely free to write about this!
